Workers talk while working at the Partagas cigar factory produce more than one hundred million cigars in a year--over 32,000 a day. Cuban cigars are coveted throughout the world because of their superior quality of tobacco. Each roller makes at least 105 cigars a day--they are paid more if they make more. They listen to a lector read a book to the workers to alleviate boredom.
