Foal Restrained for Veterinarian

A foal waits to be inspected by veterinarian at Palomino Valley in Nevada.  Mustangs are given shots, and shaved for a freeze brand that marks when and where they were captured.<br />
Nearly 900 wild horses brought in from the Jackson Mountains are processed at Palomino Valley holding facility.  Horses that are sorted into mares and foals, stallions and are moved through a chute to be worked on by the veterinarian Rich Sanford.  Cary Frost applies the freeze brand and Dusty Capurro shaves the neck for the brand.
