Marina and Boat Interior

A tour boat returns to Wrangell harbor from Anan Creek where tourists are taken to see black bears feed on salmon. Anan Creek is an hour from Wrangell by boat onto the mainland. The forests service allows sixty permits a day for tourists to visit their viewing platform to see the bears fatten up for the winter. Wrangell depended heavily on logging in the past and is now turning to tourism.
