Holding Baby Camel Brings Adults Near

Riding in the back of a pick up truck, some competitors use camel calves to lure antsy mothers to the gate. Once inside the parade grounds, a turn before the judges marks the end of a long walk for many of the camels, from Oman, Qatar, and distant quarters of Saudi Arabia.
