Atacama Morning Scenery

Shadows fall on orange rock in the Valley of the Moon in the Atacama Desert, the driest place on earth. Parts of the desert go for more than a century without recordable precipitation. Flood and wind have left an array of oddly shaped polychrome forms in the desolate, eroded desert landscape.
