Tourists HIke in Blue Rain Jackets

Tourists from cruise ships docking in Juneau sign up for different day trips. This group of men hiked through the forest to see the Mendenhall glacier with Aurora and Jamie, guides with Gastineau Tours. It was a wet walk for the blue hooded tourists who tried to keep having a good time in the pouring rain with few views through the fog. Sometimes 5 or 6 cruise ships dock during the day increasing the city's population by 12,000 people. They buy jewels, furs and memories of the Southeast Inside Passage. Many of the stories in the downtown are owned by the cruise ships.
