Mustang Band in Open Range near Green River WY

A band of wild horses roam the wide open spaces in western Wyoming along Pilot Butte Wild Horse Scenic Loop Tour on top of the White Mountain. There are around 1000 horses live on the checkerboard ownership land and the community of Green River teamed up with the BLM to create a route for people to drive to see the scenery and horses. It is located north between the communities of Rock Springs and Green River.
